Pani Rose, Thanks for the good news as Matthew improves. Glory to God! Mary Jo

Pani Rose,
Thanks for the good news as Matthew improves.
Glory to God!
Mary Jo HEHEHEHE. Wonder if it was a Freudian "slip?" I have heard the title "Pani" used in some churches, but not in others. I don't know if there is any hard and fast rule about it.

At St. Georges I get Sham'mas' for the Melkites which is Arabic. With the Ruthenians I get Pani or Deaconessa. Most just call me Rose, which works really well, then I really know who I am. Y'all are all so sweet and kind. I ask that the Lord Jesus Christ, Son of the Living God, to have mercy upon each of you, healing you and your love ones, meeting each of your needs according to God's riches in glory. Amen

"Panti Rose?"
I know three 'Roses' now.
Anythime my eyes read 'Pani Rose' I am not used to used that "Pani' and my mind says "Pantene" (pan-teen) like the shampoo.
Silly huh? So I see "Pani Rose" and my minds says "Ah ... Pan-teen Rose" so I guess my finger slipped and added the 'T' I always hear.
My son calls this 'brain leakage'.

Hey,
Thank you for the prayers. I just spoke with our priest, Archimandrite Frank Milienewicz, he said to tell all of you thank you for your prayers, for Matthew has a long way to go.
However, he said that fact that he is still with us, lets us know he is going to make it. He is still on the ventilator for breathing assistance. Still unconscience, and the doctors are doing everything they can to help physically in the natural sence. Matthew is at UAB her in Birmingham, which is one of the major hospitals in the US now. It is up to God and the bodies on ability God has given to heal itself.
Fr. Frank is an awesome man of God, truly a man dedicated to prayer. He is always expecting us to spend more time in prayer and calling us forward, never one to be content with the status quo. He himself struggles with health issues. So pray for him also. He is in need of knee replacements, the cartilege is gone, but as of yet that cannot be done. He is diabetic with neuropathy, his feet are numb, there is little feeling left in them. Yet he never fails to be there for us. He is a man truly in love with our Lord. We are so blessed as a parish community to have him.
Pani Rose

We are truly blessed to have such servants of God, who literally burn themselves out looking after their flocks. Prayers for Fr. Frank, and prayers continue for Matthew.

Pani Rose,
Thank you for the update on Matthew's condition. I am setting aside some time this afternoon to pray for needs of others and will hold up Matthew and his family then.
In Christ,
Mary Jo
