Dear Andrew,

That last saying reminds me of the father who didn't want to allow his unmarried daughter to go on a weekend alone with her boyfriend.

"But I'm a big girl, daddy!" she said.

"And I don't want you getting any bigger . . ." the father sheepishly replied.
