If I have wounded anyone, by my words , actually written or implied, or actions or hurt anyone in any way then I most humbly ask your forgiveness and beg you to pray for me - a great sinner

I'm a week behind most of you--as I follow the Orthodox paschalion--but I ask forgiveness of you all and forgive all...

In Christ,

For all whom I have hurt, through words of anger expressed or words of love unexpressed,

For all of us:

"Almighty and everlasting God, you despise nothing you have made and forgive the sins of all who are penitent;

"Create and make in us new and contrite hearts, that we, worthily lamenting our sins and acknowledging our brokenness, may obtain of you, the God of all mercy, perfect remission and forgiveness;

"Through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever.

"Amen."

Dear Friends,

I ask you all to hold the thoughts I am about to write until this Sunday evening . . . wink

I ask for your forgiveness and I am in tears as I write this (smiley above notwithstanding).

I ask forgiveness of Fr. Thomas Soroka for my comments that offended him and for the way I broke the rules of this Forum in making public his private comments to me. I allowed myself to be overly sensitive, which is a sin in itself, and I tried to call undue attention to myself by acting like a cry-baby by bringing it into the public domain here.

I ask forgiveness of Brian for anything in that ill-fated post that was offensive - although in good faith I say it was not intended to be so.

I ask forgiveness of the Administrator for whom I have been more of a source of grief lately than anything else. I have made a full statement of my feelings to him, asking his forgiveness and awaiting his judgement on the entire matter.

I ask forgiveness of the Venerable Father Elias whose comments I know disappointed him - something I also never wanted to happen and which fact deeply grieves me.

I ask forgiveness of Angela Taylor who has suffered with my vaccillations throughout.

I ask forgiveness of Cantor Joe Thur for any times I deliberately upset him or caused him to be angry with me on the Forum.

I ask forgiveness of my Ruthenian friends any time I gave offense, inadvertently, to their national and cultural identity vis-a-vis Ukrainian identity - which was done mainly through ignorance on my part.

I ask forgiveness of Diak Randolph for getting upset with him last year over the matter of the Patriarchate of the UGCC.

And I ask forgiveness of all of you for the times I acted immaturely in pride, over-sensitivity, callously, without due regard for others' feelings, calling attention to myself, over-posting (if there is such a word) and the like.

Alex,

God will forgive!!! Forgive me , a sinner, for my tactlessness and sectarianism and too many other things to mention but that God knows!

A Blessed Journey on the Great Fast to you and yours!

Alex,

God forgives .

I am told to do it to not just once but as many times as necessary and this I do gladly.

I know I'm a few days early for you - but enjoy the Fast smile

Dear Brian,

You are one of the most tactile people I know! wink

You know I love you, Leftism and all! smile

Actually, I think that your left-wingism is what makes your posts especially cute!

And I'm sure your Orthodox pastor and his bishop that you will soon be joining share my view! wink

(Wait until after the Chrismation ceremony to tell them, will you? smile smile ).

Or just tell them it's none of their business!

I'll stop now before I get myself into more trouble . . . smile

God bless you, Brian Seraphim!

(Good Irish names, I say!)

Dear Anhelyna,

Thank you!

But if I lose any more weight (I lost 40 lbs recently) I'll become the invisible man!
