Our Father who art in heaven
Hallowed be thy name
Thy kingdom come
Thy will be done
On earth as it is in heaven
Give us this day our daily bread
And forgive us our tresspasses
As we forgive those who tresspass agianst us
Lead us not into temptation
But deliver us from evil...May our Good God grant to his servent Alex many blessed years!

Happy Birthday Alex.
Have you ever heard the Capuchin birthday song? It goes like this, sung to a mournful, dirgelike tune:
Happy Birthday...
Happy Birthday...
Gloom and sorrow fill the air,
People dying everywhere,
But Happy Birthday...

biggrin Daniel

Thanks to everyone for all your wonderful greetings!

Especially to you, Mr. Administrator! smile

I was told that in Jamaica the best birthday greeting one may get is: May you be as happy as the child born in a cemetery!

Somehow they regard that as good luck.

I was born on a Thursday, the Irish lucky day . . .

I received a birthday letter from my old boss today, the one I parted company with on rather bad terms in December.

But I didn't write "return to sender" but sent him an e-mail to thank him.

Before I left, I prepared the resume of the husband of one of his other assistants.

When my boss saw it, he blasted me for it, saying it was inappropriate etc.

Well, the lady sent me an e-mail today to say her husband got the job he wanted on the strength of the resume . . .

What poetic justice! smile

It's such a sunny day here that I'm going out there to rake the lawn! And later, off to an Italian restaurant for my favourite "Crostata" of white chocolate, raspberries and pistachio nuts!

And, Incognitus, as you see, I don't keep any secrets very well at all!

It's a good thing you haven't revealed your identity to me even in private! smile

Ciao!

Alex

Of course, the big question here is...

Which will occur first: your 51st birthday or your 20,000th post?!

Any bets, gang??

Dr. Alex,

Happy 50th! Here's to 50 more!

I think that you will reach 20,000 posts before your 51st birthday!

St. Alexius pray for Dr. Alex!
