Dear Freinds,
In your prayers today please pray for my family. Over the weekend my wife (Jackie) did 3 pregnancy tests and they are inconclusive, but have the faint signs of a pregnancy.
We are hoping that we will be blessed with another child, but let God's will be done.
We are also scared that the baby may be trapped in the fallopian tube which limits the levels of hCG hormone, and in essecence would mean an ectopic pregnancy.
Please pray for us and the health of our unborn child.
Jackie is going to the Doctor today.

Your brother in Christ
Brad

Lord Jesus Christ, Son of the Living God, show your mercy upon Brad and his wife. Make things very clear for them, that in this season of rejoicing in your birth, they may be rid of any uncertainty and rejoice in the news that you bring to them.

Thank you all for your sincere prayers.
Jackie had a blood test last Monday (9th) and the results showed low levels of the hCG hormone.
The doctor immediately requisitioned another test on Wednesday (11th). We received the results last night and the hCG levels have more than doubled.
Glory to Him on high !!
To be sure the doctor has ordered another blood test tomorrow morning, we should have the full results after the weekend.
If all goes well the due date will be on or around September 15th.

For some reason, when we first found out about the pregnancy, Jackie and I began thinking the worst.
I now believe that the bigger picture was a test of our faith.

Thank you all once again.
Brad

Dear Friends,
Jackie, Ava and I went this morning for the first ultra sound. It was once again a truly incredible and moving experience, despite that the baby was too small for any measurements. Jackie is only 10.5 week pregnant. We had thought that she was 12 weeks. We'll have to go back in two more weeks. The technician was nice enough to invite Ava and I into the exam room. I was able to see the heart beating.
Ava is still a bit confused, when looking at the monitor and associating the blob of images with the baby growing in her Mummy's tummy.
It's -12 C (10 F) in Toronto this morning. The sun is shining brightly and I can feel the warmth of the rays on my face, perhaps this is a sign from Him, that everything will be fine with the baby.

Thank you all for your prayers,

per Christum Dominum nostrum.

Brad
