I am a moderator for a site that is primarily young people. I have rec'd an urgent message from the President of the site that one of the members, who is seventeen years old, had threatened suicide. when I checked the site, there has been a great number of responses to this crisis, and as you can figure, things are quite chaotic. the kids are extremely upset. now there are messages to the effect that the boy has committed suicide. I have done what I can to still the waters, but there has been no new 411. pray that he has not committed suicide (Emmanuel). but if it is the worst case scenario, please pray for his soul.

For those contemplating suicide

Lord Jesus, You came into Your Own Creation to release us from the power of death and the lack of hope that living without You often brings. Help us to be Your Presence and Comfort to those who have lost a loved one by his own hand. Be the strength of those left behind to wonder why. Grant to those who are contemplating the taking of their own life an openness that seems to be lacking. Break down the barriers that are erected by those who feel that they are alone and without hope. Let them see that there are other human beings who care that they continue to live. Help them to have an inkling of their priceless worth, both to You who made them and to us You have gifted them to. Give us the Grace to show those slipping into despair that leads to self-destruction that they have worth and that there is hope, because hope is You and life in You. Grant all these things because You love us so much. Through the powerful prayers and intercessions of Your all-Holy Mother, Mary, the Theotokos and Ever-Virgin, who is by Your gracious gift from the Cross our mother, Lord Jesus, grant us all these petitions and save us all. AMEN.

Lord Jesus as You are the great Emmanuel, have mercy on Your servant who bears this name. Please heal his mind, body, and soul. O Holy Mother of God, pray for this troubled young man.

I am still hoping against hope. it seems that he MAY have gone ahead. I am in contact with the President of the site that Emmanuel frequented, and have asked him to verify 411 that he rec'd through a third party.I hope that next time, I can post happier news, but something in me tells me that it has happened for the worst.

Prayers for Emmanuel. It is very silly to commit suicide. Happiness awaits right around the corner. I know cause I just met her!
