Dear Friends,

First of all, I offer up prayers for all the intentions here.

I would also ask your prayers for my wife's cousin whose wife gave birth to two premature twin babies.

Unfortunately, both have died and the panakhyda is tonight.

Her cousin, the father, is also going in for a serious operation this Friday, he put it off to be able to see the birth of his children . . .

May He who watches over infants and children in the present life and in the world to come because of their simple heartedness and innocence of mind, abundantly satisfying them with a place in Abraham's bosom, bringing them to live in radiantly shining places, where the spirits of the righteous dwell, receive in peace the souls of Your infant children, for You have said: "Let the little children come to Me, for of such is the kingdom of Heaven." For only Yours is the Kingdom of Heaven, and to You we ascribe glory, together with Your eternal Father and Your all Holy, Good and Life-giving Spirit, both now and ever and unto ages of ages. Amen.

May their memory be eternal! Vicnaja pamjat!

In the love of Christ,
Theophilos

I join you and your cousin's family in their bereavement and for the speedy recovery of the grieving father from his own affliction.

His twin angels will be at his side during his operation.

Be assured of my prayers for those 2 little ones who are now assuredly with God, their parents and also their father now facing surgery , with his grieving wife separated from him for a bit.

May God pour His healing Grace over the hurting parents.

May He bring speedy healing to the father following his surgery.

May both parents find the strength to comfort and support each other at this time - and in the future

May Our Lord God keep these little ones happily in his light. And may we all come together some day.

May our Holy Mother guide and protect their sorrowful parents, help them bear the untolerable grief, and help them make sense of it all.

May the father have restored good health and many years in love and faith.

God grant strength to this heroic family!

These things I pray.

In Christ,
Michael

Dear Brian and Michael,

Bless you both for your kindness!

And, Brian, I'm sure your Guardian Angel pays you the honour of keeping to your left side . . . wink

Dear Alex,

Memory Eternal.

The Great Martyr Eleutherios and his Mother Anthia have long been venerated as those to petition for a safe childbirth. They were from Rome and served in Vlora, Epiros, now Albania.

The Greeks say "kali eleuthera" meaning "a good freeing at the time of birth" May her next birth be a safe and healthy one!

With love in Christ,
Andrew.

May the Lord take the babies to Himself and be their joy. May He sustain the parents of these young saints through the intercession of His own Parents. May the Healer of humankind guide the surgeon's hand and grant health and long life to the father. May He bring a healing to their grief and bless them and you and yours.

Alex, sorry to hear such tragic news. Being a twin (identical), I always feel a special connection to other twins. May God grant them a blessed repose and make their memory eternal, vichnaja pamjat.
