The baby weighs between 8.5 and 9.5 pounds at this point. He is healthy and looks good.

Unfortunately his sense of direction really really sucks because he has flipped into a breech position.

Please pray that our Lord can convince this kid to turn around and come out right side down.

Thanks

John

My prayers for mom and baby.

I remember my daughter doing the same thing just before she was born. Thankfully her sense of direction has improved since!

Dear John,

I will offer my prayers for your wife and child. I know a breech birth is difficult, so hopefully the baby will turn around...and come out with a big smile on his face. wink

Prayers for John's wife and baby, that the Holy Theotokos, Mother to us all, will intercede at the Holy Throne for their health, well-being, and safe delivery. Prayers for John as well, that he be given strength and comfort in this time of anxiety.

John,

Glory to God for all His miracles. I pray that Benedict John Paul and Sue are doing fine and that you will have them home healthy and safe soon.

Dear John,

May God bless and keep your precious new arrival, Benedict John Paul! smile

(I wonder where the baby got those names from?!? hmmmm wink )

Thought you might appreciate this ancient Eastern prayer for newborns and their mothers:

...In the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Sovereign Master and Lord our God, Who was born of our all-pure Lady Theotokos and Ever Virgin Mary, Who as a Babe was laid in a manger, and as a child was held up to be seen, do You Yourself have mercy on this Your handmaiden Sue who has borne this child, and be gracious unto her voluntary and involuntary offenses, protecting her from every diabolical cruelty; preserve their child she has borne from every bane, from every harm, from every hostile rage, from evil spirits of the day and night; keep your handmaiden Sue safe under Your mighty hand. Grant to her a speedy recovery. Cleanse her of every sin; bring healing from suffering, and grant unto her health, and strength of both soul and body; and with bright, shining Angels enfold and cherish her, guarding her round about against every attack of invisible spirits - yes, Lord, from sickness and infirmity, and from jealousy and envy. Have mercy on her and their newborn child according to the greatness of Your mercy.

For to You are due all glory, honor and worship now and forever and unto the ages of ages. Amen..

Love in Christ,
Alice
