my prayers and best wishes for such a gracious lady. it's great to see another EC down here in the South, and that, plus the fact that she is universally loved here just makes my prayers that more focused for her. get well, and send me some of your sauerkraut that I remember your talking about.
Much Love,
Jonn

Who is that - off in the distance?
Who is that - bent over from
the weight of a wooden beam?

It is my daughter.
My bride to be.
My love.

She offers me the sweetest wine.
Her perfume is of heaven.
Her hair is arranged for me.
She carries MY cross - and does not complain.
Where? can I find another like her??

I wound her - myself.
Look! I place the holes in my hands upon her palms.
The holes in my feet - upon her feet.
The rip in my side - near her heart.
The sins of others I place upon her back as well as my own!

I called out Who will carry my cross with me?
And she stepped forward I will.
And I put it upon her.
From her youth - I put it upon her.
She does not complain.

I will give her the most precious wedding gifts.
Countless souls liberated - in her wedding train.
This is the gift I give to her.
That she may bring others - to me.

Her name is Patience.
Her name is Trust.
Her name is Endurance.
Her name is Abandonment.
Her name is the sweetness of a Rose.

I am humbled and speechless (I know y'all never thought you would hear me say I didn't have anything to say).

Thank you, and I offer up to our Lord all my crazy sufferings of this day for each of you. God in the abundance of your tender mercy wipe away their tears and pain. Bring your strength to bear on all they undertake, for your mercy is great Lord, it is everlasting from age to age. For each age you call a people to yourself. I thank you Lord that you have called each one of these, may they grow in your love and goodness all the days of their lives, that they and their posterity may dwell in the house of the Lord forever. amen.

Ok, I really didn't lie - I am going back to quiet mode. biggrin

Thanks again!

Through the intercession of Sts. Luke, Panteleimon, Cosmas, Damien, and Gianna Beretta Molla may Pani Rose and Father Deacon Stan continue to improve in health. Lord have mercy on Pani Rose and Father Deacon Stan.
