Greetings.

I will be flying up to Washington state this Saturday to spend Holy Week and Pascha with the sisters at the Byzantine monastic community Holy Theophany. It is my desire to be a monastic and this is my first step in the discernment process.

Please pray for me to be receptive to God's Voice and His plan for my life.

Your sister in Christ, Michelle

Colleen and I will definitely keep you in our prayers. She had the pleasure of staying with the sisters for a days in August and had nothing but wonderful things to say about all of them! Ask Sister Anastasia if you can listen to the Pigorian Chant CD they have in their library smile

Michelle, Go with the knowledge that if He is calling you to be His bride---that NOTHING in this world will ever satisfy you more...and if He is not...then pray only: Show me where and what You wish me to do Lord!

You go with our poor prayers!

Your poor brother in Him,
+Fr. Gregory

Michelle,

How wonderful for you to spend some time in prayer and discernment with the Holy Theophany Community! I have met the sisters on several occasions. We hope to be visiting St. George's (Byzantine Church near the monastery) when we next visit in Olympia. Meanwhile we are on their mailing list.

I will surely be keeping your intentions in my prayers.

I would love to be back in Olympia for Pascha, but we are now in Arizona. Last year we were at St. George's for Pascha even bringing our basket to be blessed.

May your Holy Week and Pascha be blessed, indeed! You will be in good hands. His and theirs. smile

Thank you everyone for your prayers and kind messages. I am really excited as the time gets closer. I am about to log off and go to bed early since I have to get up at 3am (I'm taking the first plane outta here to get up there ASAP)!

Deacon John, it was great to meet you too! I'm glad to see that you were able to take a plate of food with you on your way back to the airport!

God bless everyone and I will back in a week and a half!

Michelle,

I pray that your time spent at the monastery has brought you closer to Our Lord and given you more insight on your vocation to serve the Church. Peace be with you and all of your family!
