Dear Friends,

Please remember these people in your prayers.

Sister Margaret Ann Pahl.
She was a Catholic nun who was murdered on Holy Saturday, 1980 in the chapel of a hospital in Toledo, Ohio, USA. Please also pray for her family. The trial of the man accused of her murder is going on, and this is doubtless opening old wounds for the sister's family and friends. (See http://toledoblade.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20060510/NEWS02/605100345 ).

Fr. Gerald Robinson.
He is a Catholic priest, and he is accused of murdering Sister Pahl. If he committed the crime, he needs the grace of repentance. If he is innocent, he needs grace to endure.

The Jury.
The jury in this trial is expected to begin its deliberations today. Please pray to the Holy Spirit to enlighten them to find the truth and to seek justice.

Bishop Leonard Blair.
He is the Latin Rite Catholic bishop of Toledo, Ohio, USA, where this trial is taking place. He was not the bishop when the murder took place. Instead, he is new to the diocese, and he has this plus several other problems (financial shortages, priest shortages, etc.) to deal with.

I reside in this area, and it is sad to watch this tragedy unfold. God willing, justice will be done and the dead and the living will be at peace.

Through the intercession of St. Michael the Archangel may Justice prevail. Lord have mercy on Sister Margret Ann and Father Gerald. May he repent of his sins (whether or not he killed her.) May the Jury be lead by the Holy Ghost to make the right decision.

Well, a little before 12 noon, the jury's decision was announced. Fr. Robinson was found guilty of murder. Lord have mercy.

They showed a clip of him on the news with his collar on also...anything to take a swipe at the Church. For Fr. Robinson, the repose of the Sister's soul, for the jury, prosecutors, & judge...
Our Father, Who art in heaven,
Hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil. Amen....
