The operation appears to have been successful! Dad is still asleep, but expected to do quite well, through God's mercies.

Thank you all so much... Latest bulletin is: all wires off, all tubes out, Dad walked around hospital hall four times today, and is eating, as my brother put it "what for lack of a better word I will call food." He is in good spirits, although is easily tired, as that is of course, such major surgery! Again I cannot thank you enough for your prayers! They mean so much to me, and to my father.  Gaudior, with much joy!
