I ask for your prayers so I can get over a girl. It might sound silly but when you're 16 and you've had a huge crush on that girl for 3 years it can make you feel awful. Please pray for me because most of my unhapiness has caused by her rejection and I just want to get over her but alone I don't think I can't...

Please pray for me.

That's really sad to face rejection from someone you care about, and I fully understand how you are feeling. Prayers for you.

Dear brother in Christ, Armando,

I remember how painful what you are feeling is. I know that the rejection hurts alot.

I know that you may not believe this, but you will get over it, and you will move on, and you will find a wonderful girl that will love you for the great guy that you are!

In the meantime, pray to God, and He will help you at this difficult time.

I offer my own prayers to our blessed Lady Theotokos, that as a Mother, she will comfort you and heal your hurt.

God bless and take care of yourself...

In our Risen Lord,
Alice

Dear Armando,

I offer you my prayers for what you are going through. The pain will be short lived. It hurts now, but place your heart in His hands, and ask that His Will be done.

You'll see how much better you'll feel. Have faith! smile

Good words of wisdom you have received.

St Joseph pray for Armando...
Our Father, Who art in heaven,
Hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil. Amen....Sweet Jesus you are the lifter of our heads, our Provider, and our best friend, come quickly Lord Jesus, providing for all the needs at hand.

Many prayers for you, dear brother. I just realized today that I'm still getting over the rejection of my ex-girlfriend to some extent, and that business ended three years ago!

May God have mercy and bless you with understanding, happiness, and peace.

Armando, I know how you feel.

I had a terrible crush on a lovely young lady for over three years in junior high and high school. It was painful and difficult to get over that. In truth, it was harder to get over her than it was to get over my broken engagement when I was in my mid 30s.

Prayers for you, and remember - God has other plans for you, that will be revealed to you - when God wills it to be so.

I know terrible things happen all over the world and probably mine is the least important of them all. I just want to ask, why won't prayers work?
Why do I love her everyday more instead of less.
Why do I cry more often by the day?

Dear Armando,

It will get better and prayers do work. You just don't usually realize it until after they have.
God's time is not our time.
Be strong. Maybe get away to another place for a little while if you can, so that you can get a fresh perspective on the situation.

We continue our prayers for your broken heart,
Alice

Armando:

Although your first love never dies, it will slowly fade away! wink

And when another lovely girl comes along, you will soon forget the first, and the second, and so on . . . biggrin

Dear Armando,

As Brother Amado says, it is very much like waiting for streetcars or buses . . . wink

And remember that one woman is like any other - interesting, beautiful, vivacious, exciting, emotional, moody, loving, giving - in short, the reason we men have for living . . .
