I have a doctor appointment today for complications from the miscarriage. I wouldn't be surprised if they send me to the hospital for a D&C.
The last time I had surgery I almost died, so I'm a bit apprehensive about this! It's not that I'm afraid to die, it's that I am the family breadwinner and I would be leaving behind 3 young kids and a disabled husband.
Please pray that
1) This is something that can be handled without surgery
2) If I do have to have surgery, I am able to get ahold of a priest for Viaticum (Sorry, guys - there are no Eastern Catholic priests in the area, so it has to be Roman!)
3) If I do have to have surgery, God would bring me through for the sake of my family.

Dear Tammy:
I join you and the others here in fervently praying for an uncomplicated procedure if it so required and medically necessary, as it is always uncertain what the outcome is in even a minor surgery.
My wife dreads ANY surgery as she has undergone 3 successive C-section for the birth of our 3 children because she nearly succumbed under the last 2. She is now "reaping" the post-partum effects.
