I found it very interesting in this last year to find the meaning of peoples names. It has never ceased to amaze me at how much people are like their names. It has been great fun and joy. OK OK, I am a person that is easily amused
Anyway...
Our son informed us our new grandson - due 1/24/06 - will be William Marley. Marely? So I just checked the meaning of the name Marley - it means 'precious wood.' So I immediately thought of the true presious wood the Cross of Christ. William means 'protector' on the link I have here it is 'helmet protection.' So as I see William Marely as a protector of the precious wood. Not bad! Protector of the Cross of Christ, maybe he will be a priest!
