If every man, woman and child in the United States can now be suspected of being an Al-Qaeda operative, then that also includes all those who work in security and law enforcement. I'm not being facetious here, because I've heard quotes from high ranking military personel in Iraq, who have admitted that the Insurgents have infiltrated the new Iraqi army and police. It would certainly make sense to do it here.

Lawrence,

You are correct. Didn't I hear something about the recent London situation including a security guard with full access? No one is beyond suspicion. However, the security personnel presumably go through much more thorough checks than the average passenger including their credit, criminal, marital, emotional, physical, and medical records. Not that these things are a safety net. Most of the 9/11 terrorists were completely clean, no?
