Hi all,

I was wondering what kind of experiences have ya'll had out there with cassocks from Liturgix. One friend tells me he is very happy with his cassock, and another tells me his literally fell apart after only one month. I'm hoping that was the exeption!

I would just like to know if anyone purchased from Liturgix is they are happy with the cassock, and how's the quality - does it wear well?

I'd appreciate any input!

In our Lord,
Chris

From Chtec to Chtets, smile

I helped my parish order a cassock from Liturgix for an older gentleman who serves in the altar. I found it to be good quality workmanship. The gentleman has worn it for a few years now and there have been no problems.

I have one very lightweight dark blue anterion from Liturgix (Greek style) that is holding up pretty well after two years or more now.

The best cassocks both in workmanship and in durability I own were made by Nikita Borisov (I have three made by him).

The pastor of my wife's OCA parish, a wonderful Russian priest, had absolutely gorgeous, new embroidered vestments at Pascha. I heard him telling a parishioner, "Nikita just made these for me." - in the tone of voice one would use in describing a gift from an aunt down the street.

Then I was following one of the links mentioned here and discovered that Nikita Borisov DOES live down the street - or at least within a mile or two....

Yay for old ethnic neighborhoods -

one neighborhood - six churches (RC Polish, RC Italian, RC Irish, Byzantine/Ruthenian Catholic, OCA, ACROD - go another mile or two and add ROCOR, UGCC, and SPPX...)

I have a Nikita Borisov cassock too. Excellent quality at a very fair price.

I have two cassocks, a riassa, and four clerical shirts from Nikita Borisov. He is both good, and inexpensive. Plus, I only live one hour away from him.
