We got back a week ago from a trip to Texas. Now I am heading out on a last minute trip to northern Alabama.

HEY WELCOME NEIGHBOR!

Anna said to move close to B'ham so you can go to ST. Georges biggrin that is our Church.

Oh Ray, you are no fun biggrin actually we do have folks that drive from Huntsville about every week.
But, with children, it really would keep someone from being active in the Parish.

There is a good Roman Catholic Church in Huntsville, actually has Fr. George in it, from India. A really good priest.

In fact just today, I think a list came out that said B'ham is the second most affordable place to live in the US. biggrin

Don't forget we are in the foothills of the Apalacians(sp), so the further north you go the hillier it gets, and we are plenty hilly biggrin .

Anna mentioned Mother's, here in Irondale we live in EWTN's backyard - well almost - and there is another oder of sisters started by Mother Angelica and Mother Gabriel that is a combination of Dominican and Franciscan.

Then, there are the Benedictines in Cullman. So really for being in the middle of the 'Bible Belt' there are a lot of Catholic Monasteries here.
