Hey Folks,

Last night I got to see the Aurora Borealis for the first time here in Kansas. I was so excited!

I missed the AB 4 or 5 times before I got to see one last night. It wasn't as spectacular as the one that appeared Sunday night (I missed that one). But at least I got to see it and get to say "I saw an AB in Kansas!"

It was wonderful..so awe inspiring. That shows me that G-d is wonderful...He does a little bit of every single thing.

I looked up in the sky and said, "Thank you Jesus" then the shooting star went across towards the AB. Then the AB gradually disappeared. Man, what a night.

My very first time to see AB was when I was on the plane enroute to Rome 2 years ago, we flew near Greenland and I got to see them out of the window. Pretty awesome.

Have anyone of you seen it yet? And tell me about your experiences and how you feel about it.

I saw them Sunday night. cool

We started watching from ~9PM, and continued from time to time till we wwent to sleep. But I peeked out ~ 1AM, and it was so spectacular that I woke my wife! The lights were great, but the structure and dynamics were just amazing. The streaks and sheets would ripple and flow in a seemingly coordinated manner over the breath of the sky in the course of seconds. Just amazing. I talked to an astrophysicist the next day, who said that these dynamics are not yet understood at all!

What a wonderful gift from our Lord. I guess it adds new meaning to the statement "light up your life."
