Having sampled the chocolate in 32 countries and counting, the best I have encountered was in Italy.

I bought 4 kilos, and ate it all in one night!

I encourage all to just try it. It ships well, and once you do partake, well, there no longer is hope for you!

Alexandr, who still has 15 days of chocolate and coffee to look forward to!

Four kilos in one night! YIKES! Did you sleep at all?

I find that nothing keeps me awake like dark chocolate.

Dear Alice,

Tuscany is full of these wonderful little roadside cafe's where one can stop and have a wonderful cup of espresso or capaccino spiced with cardamom, or my favorite, Turkish coffee. As I hopped from cafe to cafe, I managed to sample my way through all 4 kilos whilst getting my caffeine fix! A sip of Turkish, followed by a bite of chocolate, then on to the next stop. Who needs real food?

I was at the point where I could drink a pot of Starbucks French roast and then go immediately to sleep. I miss the coffee the most.... frown

Dear Gordo,

You are most welcome to the Julian Calendar, and you will find yourself in good company, since the majority of Greek-Catholics continue to follow it.

For those on the Revised Julian or New Calendar welcome to the Nativity Fast! the Feast of the nativity is only six weeks away. Here is a follow up story on CNN to the first one. Remember the good dark chocolate is fasting!

Dear Aleksandr,

Take heart; there is a significant Greek presence in Pittsburgh. Check around; you'll find places where they know how to make good Greek coffee.
