I'm sure that some proabortion folks will try to discredit this. I don't really care. I'm not sure it will surprise anyone who is Catholic or Orthodox.

Pretty darned impressive for "tissue" that can be removed. It's just the woman's body . . . (mumble mumble mumble).

It seems to have hit the British papers in a big way too - our Broadsheet here published no less than 6 of the photographs and the whole article took up just over half of page 3 - a wonderful spread biggrin

Thanks for posting that site. I remember the hiccupping, scratching, kicking, etc. with the three of my babies. The article surely makes it clear that these are human beings from the beginning. Amen to that.

I can't forget the wee things turning somersaults - that could be seen - totally incredible.

Hey all you forum libs who are voting for John Kerry--take a gander at this thread and then tell me that abortion doesn't matter.

Well if it's any consolation, I voted for Michael Howard.

Don't want to date myself, but I guess I will.

Loretta and I went to a pro-life seminar given by a Dr. Wilke, who used to be the pro-life movement's spokesman, in 1972. He had some similar pictures, though not taken with ultrasound.

At the time, Life magazine ran an edition showing pictures of children in various stages of development--during the time leading up to the decision in Roe v. Wade. Unfortunately, since that time, the mass media has taken the stance that their role is to propagandize for the pro-death side.

We have come so far to make a complete circle.

BTW, one of my young colleagues just brought his wife's ultrasound pictures of their third child to work yesterday. Quite a sight to see the little tyke sucking a thumb.
