Jesus Christ is God become man.

We are made in the image of God.

If Jesus Christ is born Ukrainian,

Are we not then all imaginary Ukrainians? biggrin

Yes, but was he born in East Transcarpathia, or West Transcarpathia? That could change the ethnic minority, as well as, the church to which he belongs. wink

Actually, according to the interview that Jim Cavezel had on the World Over on EWTN, he is part Slovak, so one could possibly say that Jesus is part Slovak ? biggrin biggrin biggrin

If we refer back to the first post by Chtec and check out that website we can conclude that, Jesus is born again smile

Kidding aside it looks like there are three baby Jesuses born in the city of Zhitomir in Ukraine. They are all baby boys given the name of Jesus.

Perhaps it's time for serious analysis. Consider, please: Jesus thought his mother was a virgin. He stayed home until the age of 30. He hung around with a bunch of drunks. He never got married. And here's the clincher: his mother thought he was God. Now just what ethnic group does that suggest?

Incognitus,

Irish, like my bachelor uncles of years ago. (long deceased). biggrin

They adored their mother(my grandmother whose name, BTW, was Mary) who was like the Blessed Virgin to them. They hung out in bars with sinners.(every day) wink Like many Irish men of their generation they never married or married later in life and to their Mother they were heaven sent -- at least to her anyway. smile

Blessings,

Mary Jo wink

Yeah, I was thinking Irish, too. If they had been Ukrainian, they would have been out fighting with a bunch of drunks. biggrin wink biggrin

Well, Mary Jo, I have heard it said that the Ukrainians are the Irish of the East - they don't like each other, or anyone else, either. biggrin

O, dear. I always thought the "Fighting Irish" were the Polish members of the Notre Dame football team.
