Dear Friends,
I received this in an e-mail from a dear friend today, and thought that it was so beautiful that I wanted to share it with all of you.
**************************************************
When you receive this, say a prayer for the person who sent it to you....This is so powerful. Of all the free gifts we may receive, Prayer is the very best one. There are no costs, but wonderful rewards. Let's continue praying for one another...

A Prayer

Father, I ask you to bless my friends reading this right now.

+I am asking You to minister to their spirit at this very moment.

+Where there is pain, give them Your peace and mercy.

+Where there is self doubting, release a renewed confidence in Your ability to work through them.

+Where there is tiredness, or exhaustion, I ask You to give them understanding, patience, and strength as they learn submission to your leading.

+Where there is spiritual stagnation, I ask You to renew them by revealing Your nearness, and by drawing them into greater intimacy with You.

+Where there is fear, reveal Your love, and release to them Your courage.

+Where there is a sin blocking them, reveal it, and break its hold over my friend's life.

+Bless their finances, give them greater vision, and raise up leaders and friends to support and encourage them.

+Give each of them discernment to recognize the evil forces around them, and reveal to them the power they have in You to defeat it. I ask You to do these things in Jesus' name.

In Christ's Love, Your Friend,
Alice smile

That's great Alice!

Sometimes we get so wrapped up in our own lives we hardly pay attention to each other.

If we could just be more aware we would see pains and trials and needs all around us. There is plenty of evidence of that right here.

The beautiful sentiments in this prayer should remind us to cooperate with God's grace and make the world just a little better for those around us, in so far as we are able!

And of course more than anything else, to seek the help of God, the Source of all being, for our friends.

Michael

Dear Alice,

Although there is an adage that says, "Beware of Greeks bearing gifts," I'm going to make an exception in your case especially!

Thank you!

Dear Alice,

As usual you contribute a thing of importance to us all.

Thank you for the prayer, I find much in it that I am in need of.

I pray it for all of us posters and lurkers on the Forum

Amen!
