oh how wonderful...I have been waiting for a true blue rose for years. When I was a kid I saw a movie where the hero went on a quest to find a perfect blue rose so that he could save the princess from an evil wizard...since then I have tried to find roses that at least come close to the color blue..I even got a tatoo of one years ago. Now I will finally be able to grow real blue roses. Thanks so much for posting this. Hopefully Glenn will see it and get the hint,

Isn't there some connection between the blue rose and the Mother of God? I recall a man I knew years ago in another state who had a strong devotion to the Theotokos, and the blue rose carried some special significance for him. Does anyone else know if there is some significance?
