When I visited the Holocaust Museum a couple years ago, I found myself muttering as I walked through the displays, and I realized I was saying over and over, "Every one a soul loved by God."
Last time I looked, even "infidels" had souls.
Just a random thought.

Hmmm...it is wrong to get upset over a statue of of an Apostle cutting off the head of infidels (Muslims). So I guess it is wrong to get upset over the death by torture of Muslims in the Iraqi prison camps...after all, the Holy Apostle James did it way back when! They are only infidels after all and we are the new Christian crusaders. Moe

So their's really no difference between a Christian Kingdom defending itself against merciless Moslem invaders, and the world's only super power invading (hardly a Christian Crusade) a third world country because they decided that their former ally who they used to provide weapons for, had become a bad guy. Sure puts right and wrong in the proper perspective.

God would be on the side which ever country was defending itself against blood thirsty Islamic fanatics. At least the God I believe in would.

Well Neil, by your line of reasoning, those who fought against the Nazis, Imperial Japanese, Soviets, Red Chinese, North Koreans, Viet Cong, North Vietnamese, Iraqis etc have absolutely no moral high ground to claim their cause was in anyway justifiable.
