I have seen the poll JoeS refers to. It is with a biased phrasing developed by the abortion rights lobby. I am sorry to see JoeS joining in with the pro-abortion propaganda machine.

The better survey research is clear. Church attending Catholics have a strong sympathy for seamless garment public policies. However, the have little faith that politicans who mouth anti-abortion rhetoric but show no other concern for the poor and defenseless will actually do anything to create a culture of life.

Church leaders, on this matter, may wish to pay more attention to the Magesterium of the Laity.

Catholics, Orthodox, and likeminded Christians were obligated not to vote for those candidates who knowingly adhere to the stench of death that pervades our hospitals and abortion clinics(AKA family planning centers--Yeh right!) Vote for all the locals that you know, thats not hard. All politics is local anyway.
Who to vote for? I voted for my state senator who is proud to be pro-life and unshamedly says so out loud.

Thank you for sharing JoeS. As for me, on election day I was out campaigning for Ron Klink, Bob Casey, Jr. and Catherine Baker Knoll, all fine Democrats.

Im sure they are, and I admire you for your civic commitment. I respect your choice and I hope you respect my choice of Rick S.
(but I think somehow you already knew that)

The new Congress will include a freshman California Representative, The Hon. Darrell Issa (48th District) who is a Lebanese-American of the Greek Orthodox faith.
