I love Stephen Colbert and have the entire season of The Colbert Report TiVoed.
Naturally, I don't agree with everything he says, just as a disclaimer...
He is a self-described devout Catholic who "loves his faith and his Church." I wonder what he truly thinks about gay marriage and abortion; it is rather difficult to tell through all his parody.
He does often make fun of some Churches/ecclesial communities, but never the Churches themselves it seems; instead only those who use the Church in dishonorable ways...
Of course, he and I might disagree as to what is dishonorable!
