Dear Irenaeus - thanks for this posting; it's most interesting and I shall try to follow the unfolding story. As of now, though, I still hope to vote for Hilary Clinton.

An interesting article on Sam Brownback [rollingstone.com] in Rolling Stone. I personally find him to be one of the scariest men in politics today. There are so many parellels between his type of religion and that of the Taliban or the Iranian fundamentalists.
