Dan L [/b]Mary has been on the internet for years. For instance, check the archives of Cineast on cin.org for a "historical look." Anastasios

Dear Moe, Yes, Mary made some great points - especially during her Magnificat in the early part of the Gospel of Luke! Alex

Dan's OK; he usually behaves himself on the ByzCath forum. He'd probably do in a pinch! LOL
As a former Protestant, he brings a wealth of knowledge to us here. God bless him, wg

What's not to like? Carson Dan Lauffer is a real resource to the church, more committed and hardworking below the radar screen where we usually cannot see. None of us will agree with each other all of the time, that's just not natural. He calls 'em as he sees 'em. He challenges us to think, that's good! His writing style sometimes has a hard edge to it, but that is just because he writes the way we talk face to face (there are a number of people like that around here ) that sometimes sounds different in print. Dan is outspoken, and sincere, he uses economy in his choice of words. One never has to guess about what he thinks, he wears it on his sleeve! He's honest and I appreciate that! I need more friends like Dan. +T+ Michael

I have known Dan for a short time, honestly I have no idea what this thread all about, but when "thread of appreciation" for a friend and a brother like Dan - I will be honored to say:
Sometimes the strongest message is the shortest, and sometimes a single word can express emotions more than a whole paragraph.
Dan buddy, CHEERS!

The use of the economy of words comes from an English Professor I had in college. It seemed to be good advice and still does.
