Everyone in this forum posts so frequently and so close in real time, it feels more like a slow chat room!

For a moment there, I thought David was in conversation with himself. It took me a moment to see Brian's name shocked

Dear David,

Yes, Arch. Lev Gillet was once the personal secretary to our Metropolitan Andrew Sheptytsky . . .

I visited the library in London where he worked and I love how he would pronounce the word "Jesus" over everyone he met!

The Trisagion is a meaningful prayer indeed - in the Coptic/Oriental Orthodox world, as you know, it is a prayer addressed to Christ and NOT to the Trinity.

And the Anglican St Charles, King and Martyr (to whom I've written an Eastern liturgical service that will be out in June of this year wink ), always bowed his head at the Names of Jesus and Mary.

I wonder if there is someone who writes icons of the Anglican saints like James DeKoven et al.?

Dear Columcille,

Thank you for your kindness, Big Guy!

Yes, the Anglican High Church and the Anglican Catholic movement did a good job with that English translation!

David, Welcome! Christ is Risen! (Response: Indeed He is Risen!) You will find the forum full of Christian charity and wisdom (although not to much wisdom from my end)

Diak,

In my tradition it's "Allelulia, Christ is Risen"
(R) "The Lord has Risen indeed Allelulia"

Dear David,

And in the Polish tradition, "Happy Easter" is "Wesolego Alleluia" or "Happy Alleluia!"

Just to ensure that everybody gets equal time here . . .

Alex
