While sifting through some prayer cards at my mother's home, I ran across one that looked to be in Ukrainian and issued in Rome. The only part I can read uses the Latin word for a priest and is dated 1952. His name is Myron Stasiv. Was just curious if the name means anything to anyone here. Vito

Dear Vito,

As a point of information, Fr. Myron Stasiv is today the pastor of the UGCC parish of the Holy Protection in Toronto.

He has two doctorates and a licentiate in Canon Law, and is the Protosyngellos of our Eastern Canadian Eparchy. He is a Mitred Archpriest and my old teacher of religion.

He and I have an agreement - he only says nice things about me and I only say nice things about him! smile

Alex

Dear Alex, Thank you for the information about Rev. Fr. Myron. Somehow I had in the back of my mind that Alex probably knows him! LOL. It's so curious how these little incidents like the discovery of a prayer card happen. Thanks again Alex.
