Bemused, befuddled, upset when our hierarchs wear ankle-length mantyas, kolpaks, folding mitres, bib-style omophoria? Relax! It could be worse. Our clerics could be dressing like this [gradgoods.com] or like this [robeshop.com] ! eek

It seems the Metropolitan of Philadelphia is on the right track towards proper Eastern atttire; he seems to have purchased a light blue Metropolitan mantiya.:http://www.ukrarcheparchy.us/index.php?categoryid=26&p17_sectionid=6

But Kobzar, I see nothing wrong with those purple cassocks. The only thing they are missing is a Pectoral Cross. And a red poyas.

Purple with a red sash is already in use - the Students of the Pontificio Collegio Scozzese use those colours :p
