I respect your belief that our Church's orthodoxy has "something" to do with our communion with the Roman See; I just find the patristic criterion of Orthodoxy not only more reasonable, but also more in line with the Eastern POV. My Communion with Rome through the Ruthenian Catholic Church does not make me more Orthodox than I would be if our Church was seperate from communion with the Pope of Rome. The Ruthenian Church did not unite with Rome to somehow complete it's orthodoxy, but ideally rather to participate in Christ's prayer that "we may all be one" and the words of the psalmist: " How pleasant is it when bretheren dwell in unity."
