I am looking for an icon of Saint Josaphat suitable for a chapel. I recently received a beautiful reliquary of the Saint and I would like to place it near an icon of the Hieromartyr. Any ideas? Silouan

Glory to Jesus Christ ! I have two suggestions for you. The monks at Holy Transfiguration Monastery in California has several icons of the martyr. They may know how to obtain more. You can write to them at this address:Holy Transfiguration Monastery/ 17001 Tomki Rd/ P.O. Box 217/ Redwood Valley, CA 95470. There are several icons of St.Josaphat in The History of Ukrainian Icons: (X-XX centuries)( in Ukrainian)by Dmytro Stepovyk. You could make a color xerox of one of the icons and mount it. May the holy martyred bishop intercede for you, Silouan, and all who venerate his relics in your chapel !

Well, it's a little over two years to reply to this post but....

Basilian Press (www.pathcom.com/~baspress/ ) sells icon prints and holy cards of Saint Josaphat.
One icon print that I recommend which Basilian Press sells depicts Saint Josapaht ascending toward heaven. Above him are two angels holding a crown above his head and below him is the Pochayev monastery. Saint Josaphat is dressed in hierarchical monastic vestments.

I would also recommend getting the holy card icon that depicts Saint Josaphat holding a cross in his right hand and a scroll in his left with the petition, "... for the welfare of the holy churches of God and for the union of all..", written on it.

I hope this helps you.
