This isn't news. ebay has offered antimensions, menorahs, vestments, altar vessels, relics from the Christian as well as Bhuddist traditions for sal efor years. In fact shortly after the death of JPII someone auctioned off a Host they claimed to have saved from a Mass he celebrated.

I seem to recall an antimension listed on eBay some time ago that was purchased and "rescued" by a member of this forum (if memory serves me). I remember that attempts were made to get eBay to pull the item because it violated their own prohibitions against trafficking in body parts, but I don't recall their response to the request.
Anybody??

Now I remember...
To get past the "no body parts" thing, the seller claimed that the sale was for the antimension cloth alone, and that the relics sewn into it we not being "sold," but were being included as a "free bonus" to the buyer.
Sneaky, huh??

...kinda like saying, "I'll sell you this cheap styrofoam cooler for $100,000... oh... and by the way... as a "free bonus," I'll even let you keep the human kidney that's inside (wink... wink...)."
