No, you have it all wrong. Toll Houses are where you sit around eating cookies with the angels and telling funny stories. Don

Gee, it sounds a lot like what I do at work, except for the "angels" part!

Eventually, you will have the angels in your midst after you are considered enlightened enough like Fr. Don in Kansas and earn admittance to the 2nd Floor of the "Toll House." wink

So, refrain from saying ". . .Eeeeek" every time you see Steve P. in Church: he might be holding the candle "necessary" to enlighten your way up! biggrin

Oh, I didn't say "eeek" because I didn't want to see him! Just that I didn't want him to wonder who I was flirting with! ;-)

Dear Theist Doll:

The required candle might, therefore, be unnecessary in this instance. . .

"Flirting" can generate enough sparks to light your way up!

Climbing up to the 2nd Floor of the "Toll House" is not as arduous as it seems to be!

But I plead ignorance as to how enlightened one must be to reach that desired 7th heaven?!

ENLIGHTENED?

I would suppose if you have enough candles burning you can see the way clearly to the 7th floor.

I do notice that he has been discreetly absenting himself from this whole discussion! Not that I blame him, nyuk nyuk!

Theist Gal,

Actually I just logged on after another long day at work and was surprised to see my name come up in conversations that weren't on defending cantors or debating "new" music! shocked Tho' I can tiptoe out of the discussion if t'would be better.

Happily surprised, eek

Hi Steve!

Just doing my job -- sowing seeds of mystery and illusion wherever I go! (hee hee)

See you in a couple of weeks, and say hi to your mom! :-)
