I think you are asking for a more detailed answer, but one place to start is through the Byzantine Prayer Book which should be available at the Church in Oklahoma City and is available through our publishing concern in Pittsburgh. Along with this get some direction from a priest and begin to pray the Jesus Prayer.

The Byzantine Prayer Book is excellent and I would recommend it to anyone.
