I'll support your as long as your national flag is blue and yellow, and your coat of arms is a trident.

Well, does the "Crown Prince of Carpatho-Rus" have a written endorsement from the Apostolic Queen? Incognitus

The colors of the bars on the Rusyn Emblem are dark blue and dark gold. They represent the seven major rivers that flow throughout Subcarpathian Rus'. The colors come from the eccesiastical seal for the Mukachevo Eparchy and the Chernecha Hora Monastery in Mukachevo. Ukrainian colors are sky blue and yellow. wink

Chtec, you will have to dethrone King Magocsi as the locals already claim him as their leader!

Wow, already we could have a coup d'tat! wink

Look, it will be first come, first serve: whoever is the first one to successfully create a government and country of Carpatho-Rus wins the throne.

Or I could just continue the be the crown prince, I'm cool with that... for now. mu ha ha ha ha.

biggrin

Even without the endorsement of the Apostolic Queen, the claimants to the throne of Carpatho-Rus (or Carpatho-Rusynia) face a practical problem: the necessity to locate this elusive territory.
As for Alex, the question which occurs to me is who might be a reasonable candidate for a hypothetical Ukrainian throne. Back about 85 years ago there was an Austrian Archduke whom Metropolitan Andrew was grooming to some extent for the purpose, but the Archduke must be long dead. The son of the last hetman was killed in England in the nineteen-fifties. There was some madman - from the Congo, of all places - calling himself King Olelko II of Ukraine, but whoever he may have been, he seems to have disappeared from sight. Perhaps another try with a Hapsburg? I somehow don't think that importing another Scandinavian is a good idea! Incognitus
