Dear Administrator,

Well, you know much better than I the history of postings and posters here and I defer to your judgement in the matter of course.

I don't suggest, as this would not be true, that Axios and others are somehow against homosexuality.

Yes, they wish acceptance of their identity and lifestyle, no question.

Are they subverting Christian values in so doing? Perhaps, but I don't know.

And I don't have the answers.

It is just that there are times when life is less black and white than at others.

And, for me, this is one of those times.

Have a great weekend!

Alex

Thank you, Alex for providing a truly Christian and understanding response here. We must never let our hearts be blinded to love even if people hold beliefs totally opposed to ours. God's love and His Gift of friendship transcend all "orientations" or "lifestyles".

Otherwise..... how could a social democrat like a monarchist or vice versa! wink

Peace,
Brian in Sacramento

Brian,

Calling people from sinful lifestyles is part of our responsibility as Christians and is itself an example of love. Christian love means we are to love people unconditionally. It doe not mean that we are ever to accept the sinful choices any of us make. Those who reject Gods laws also reject His Gift of friendship. Our job as Christians is to love and care for people so much that they will choose the path of Christ, since it is the only path that leads to salvation.

Since this thread has now wandered far from its original topic I will close it. Please feel free to be new discussions on these topics under new threads.
