(* bonus points if you know his/her name ) I don't think I'd be quoting pantheistic Star Wars to solve the problems of distributism throughout the world, no matter how wise Princess Leia appeared to be.

We keep hearing warnings about the Polar Ice Cap breaking up, Polar bears drowning, claims that New York City will be flooded out of existence, and frankly I have no doubt that if we get hit with another severe hurricane season in the US, the environmental panic peddlers are going to gain alot more momentum. Still I must wonder how the same "experts" would have explained the end of the Medieval Warm Period around 1300, when oats stopped growing near the Arctic Circle in Norway, or wheat as far north as Trondheim. or how Viking farms in Greenland became buried under ice and snow most of the year, how the vineyard industry died out in Northern Europe where it had existed on average around 300 miles further North than it is now, and how various crops ceased growing at higher altitudes throughout Europe. What's happening today is still insignificant compared to the changes that brought about the Medieval Warm Period and The Little Ice Age, and back then it wasen't possible to blame Americans for having too many cars.
