Dear Steve,

We haven't seen you around here for a while! (except for a couple of posts)
Hope that you are well, and that you are having a blessed Lent.

In Christ,
Alice

Dear Alice,

Lent is progressing and God is working His ways with me. He's always full of surprises. Sometimes I think He has a good laugh at how I attempt to do His work and save myself!

So, I ask your prayers and those of the other posters that I cooperate with what He is doing and not try to tell Him when He should do what. I'm not too good at that!

I am so touched by your concern for me and by your welcome back!

You and the other posters in this thread are Byzantine Forum treasures.

In you is exemplified the love and concern and respect for others that has been a hallmark of this site.

I think it was St. Phillip Neri who once said that you can attract more bees with a teaspoonful of honey than with a barrel of vinegar.

We're all blessed by the endless supply of honey with which you draw us together.

I pray that your Lent is going well.

Thank you all!

Steve

Welcome back Steve and Guadior with Irish Melkite checking in. I noticed today a post from our dear Odd Duck also. Welcome back, Welcome back, Welcome back!

Does anyone know the name of Sharon's Parish. Maybe we can send a message to them and have her contact the forum.

Fear not Pani Rose,

I've been in touch with Sharon - all is well - they have just had a typical family winter - one after another with 'bugs'

She is also rather involved with some needlework as well at present - so decided to take a wee break from us.

I'm sure she will be back soon

Anhelyna

Well that is certainly wonderful news. Glad all is well. The last I remember her posting was for prayer about her son. Thanks!
