Glory to Jesus Christ!
I wanted to put a small icon on the dash of my car, but my father was worried that using double sided tape would leave a mark or something. Does anyone out there know of any product that does not leave a mark once it's taken off, and still is strong enough to hold onto a small icon?

Mark you could affix something to the back of a small icon to hold a rope and place it over the mirror. My husband has a cross that hangs over the mirror in our van.

I don't think a little tape would hurt. Get those little velcro thingys. They have tape on each side. The side you put on the dashboard won't encompass much area, and when you remove it.. just take some glue-be-gone (or is it called glu-b-gone?) and that should get rid of the tape mark. Or, better yet, just get double sided tape and put a small piece on each of the four corners and perhaps one in the middle. Still, small area that will leave sticky tape on the dashboard, but it'll come off with glu-b-gone or ODORLESS mineral spirits.

--Mark Therrien Mark, My husband used self-sticking velcro to attach the Icon to his dash board. Since that is the car he totaled while we were in Maryland, I don't know what kind of residue might have been left behind, but I am sure that a bottle of Goo-B-Gone would take care of it. Vie
