CIX!

Several good articles that get at the cultural questions I have been struggling with for a long time as an agrarian. I especially like his interpretation of homeschooling as being central to de-industrializing.

Good article. I have a wonderful opportunity to take over my grandfather's farm (120 acres), and learn the ways of farming before he gets too old, but my wife is a staunch city girl. Right now we live in Suburbia, but I long for the day I can make a living farming and auctioneering.

Hopefully someday she'll come around! wink

120 acres, huh? Go! And never look back! Trust me on this one! Come and see me in the spring and I'll set you up with some sheep and goats!
