Dear Miller, I have a problem with what you posted. Do you really believe that if a person is a devout Catholic or Orthodox, they would be persuaded by Campus Crusade? Actually, the only one's that would be are those that are very limited in their spiritual beliefs, and frankly, isn't becoming a Christian in any denomination, better than not being a Christian at all? I find it funny that it's okay to become a Buddhist, Hindu, Moony or what not, which so many students become, or taking drugs, jumping from one bed into another, etc., than joining up with some Christian Evangelical group...A Christian group that frankly would discourage all these things. Let's thank these people, whether we believe in everything they believe in, for the concern they have for the souls of others. May God Bless them! Zenovia

well said, Zenovia. hey, if you have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, you can look the Evangelical in the eye, and give a resounding YES to her or his question. and like you, gracious lady, I would rather see a strong Christian presence on campuses rather than the stuff that goes on otherwise. curse political correctness it is empty, bankrupt and has nothing to offer. Jesus Christ is Lord whether the secularists, Marxists, or whatever like it or not. I went to a state university for my undergrad. the school (UT Chattanooga) started as a Methodist school, then in 1969 became part of the UT system. we have always had an organized Christian (and in later years, Jewish and Islamic presence as well)presence on campus. and believe me, it was refreshing to go somewhere to worship the Lord, fellowship with other believers, and escape the negative influence. not all of us can afford private religious schools, I know I couldn't. we were Catholics, Baptists, Church of Christ, Presbyterians, Episcopals, Methodists. we overlapped, visiting each others campus ministries (hey, a great place for free or very low cost lunches and dinners)and we got along great. better yet, the seperation and political correctness gestapos kept their idiotic and vile mouths shut and left us all alone. Much Love, Jonn
