"No, I mean you can be Catholic and be a Scientologist. You can be Jewish and be a Scientologist. But we're just Scientologists."
Obviously Mr. Cruise needs a refresher course in what it means to be Catholic. One can certainly not be both Catholic and a Scientologist simultaneously.

Though it does make me wonder why he keeps getting involved with Catholic women. Mimi Rogers, Nicole Kidman, Penelope Cruz and now Katie Holmes.

Either he has a deep seated hatred for the Church and takes pleasure in attempting to lure them away from the Truth. Or he has an unconscious deisre for one of them to lure him from the lies that he is living with and espousing.

Hey lady! :-)

Tom Cruise, like many Scientologist men, seems to be extremely controling re women he's involved with. John Travolta, who is also a Scientologist, is the same way. It leads me to suspect that Scientology is a cult that employs mind control/brainwashing.

God bless,

Karen

Oh dear, don't tell Tom. Next thing you know he'll be trying to be Scientologist and Catholic and controlling! wink You can imagine how well that would work with me, eh?

Tom Cruise was at one time enrolled in junior seminary. He thought once that he would be a priest. Now he seems to have a strange pathology where dominating Catholic women (Kidman, Cruz, Holmes, etc) for him is dominating Catholicism. He finds a strange pleasure in luring Catholics into Scientology. Kidman and Cruise didn't fall for it, but Holmes seems to be naive.

Now the truth about this Satanic Cult:

http://www.xenu.net/archive/infopack/6.htm

http://www.xenu.net/archive/infopack/5.htm

http://www.xenu.net/archive/infopack/7.htm

http://www.ezlink.com/~perry/CoS/Theology/index.htm

The above is the most damning link of all.

Beware, these poor people are being controlled by dark forces.

"He designed his Scientology Operating Thetan techniques (Scietology's
secret initiations) to do the same thing. But, of course, it takes a
couple of hundred
hours of auditing and mega thousands of dollars for the
privilege of having your head turned into a glass Humpty
Dumpty--shattered into a million pieces. It may sound like
incredible gibberish, but it made my father a fortune."

(The materials of the Operating Thetan techniques [the Fishman documents]
are the reason for the raids mentioned earlier.)

"... Also I've got to complete this by saying that he thought of
himself as the Beast 666 Incarnate."

Interviewer: "The devil?"

Ron Jr: "Yes. Aleister Crowley thought of himself as such. And
when Crowley died in 1947 my father then decided that he should
wear the cloak of the beast; and become the most powerful being
in the universe.

"Scientology is black magic that is spread out over a long time
period. To perform black magic generally takes a few hours or at
most; a few weeks. But in Scientology it is stretched out over a
lifetime and so you don't see it. Black magic is the inner core
of Scientology - and it is probably the only part of Scientology
that really works.

"Also you've got to realize that my father did not worship
Satan. He thought he was Satan. He was one with Satan. He had a
direct pipeline of communication and power with him. My father
wouldn't have worshipped anything, I mean. When you think you're
the most powerful being in the universe, you have no respect for
anything let alone worship.

"... The one super-secret sentence that Scientology is built on
is: 'Do as thou wilt. That is the whole of the law.' It also
comes from the black magic, from Aleister Crowley. It means that
you are a law unto yourself, that you are above the law, that
you create your own law. You are above any other human
considerations."

The above quotes are from an interview that L. Ron Hubbard Jr. gave in the late 70s.

Thanks Dr. Eric for that fascinating interview...

I knew that scientology was a cult, and I once saw quite an unflattering and even terrifying documentary about it on television.

There are many people that have left and were harrassed, stalked, etc. frown

May our Lord protect us and our friends and loved ones from this demonic cult.

Okay, I know it's a naughty show, but I enjoyed the now infamous "South Park" scientology piece that caused so much controversy. I had no idea what scientologists believed and had never given them any thought whatsoever - a friend of mine who had a brief foray into their belief system and had read "Dianetics" and told me that the cartoon had it pretty much correct. Wow. Recently, I saw some of these folk offering stress tests at a subway stop - and yes, they were collaring some potential takers. They seemed to be targeting certain people from a prime location at the top of the escalator. I looked one of them straight in the eye and said hello and they didn't offer me one. Wonder what vibe I gave off that they didn't like? Eek. I watched them for awhile and they definitely were not picking everyone out. I half wondered what profile they were applying!

Probably their "guardian demons" (for lack of a better term) were directing them to those who are spiritually weak. Thank your Guardian Angel that they didn't target you. Their "sales" tactics are second to none, they could ice to the Innuit or cars to the Amish! wink

For an interesting fictional movie (which received no media attention even though it falls within the "supernatural thriller" film genre) which recognizes satanism behind scientology, watch, "Bless the Child." It is not for the young, and in some places it is overdone, but it really is quite incredible that someone produced this movie in 2000. Should you need to "review" the movie for appropriateness before watching it, you can go to screenit.com

Hey, I love South Park. Yes, they make fun of everybody, but that's the great thing about the show, and why you can't really get offended by it-- they make fun of EVERYONE... equal-opportunity satire. wink

Wow, that's really insightful, and probably true.

They probably learn to spot people who are easily influenced. Con artists have the same talent for immediately identifying suckers.

God bless,

Karen
