Regarding his sanity, I think he is a tormented soul. Can you imagine having anything you want, when you want it (except a newly birthed placenta), more wealth than you can spend, with the whole world fawning over you and watching your every move? Add to that his spiritual bitterness towards Catholicism, his parents and the wierd ideas of Scientology, and you get - Tom Cruise.

I think we should keep him in our prayers...

He could be just pulling the journalists leg. They report everything as if they were facts.

It seems clear from the link that he was definitely joking (which does little to mitigate his clear mental imbalance!).

I think a lot of it stems from his fear that everyone thinks he is gay.

One of my friends swears to me that her hair stylist, who used to be Tom's hairstylist or something like that, claims that Mr. Cruise has a contract with Ms. Holmes to be his mate, birth his baby, and stay with him for like a year or two. In return, she gets millions and for this he looks heterosexual. LOL! I doubt it, but crazier things have happened!

I was more impressed where this baby came from. 2 previous wives were not able to get pregnant to him. Teen I would not be surprised TV and film world just like the sport is famous for setting up situations to look good for the paying public.
