Somehow with all the news stories devoted to cartoons about Mohammed, the Pope's speech at Regensburg, and Mel Gibson's drunken ramblings, alot of us missed hearing what Charlotte Church, who once sang for Pope John Paul II, has been up to lately on her television show. Truly sad, and I'm glad my mother, who loved watching her on TV, doesn't have to see this. http://www.townhall.com/columnists/MichelleMalkin/2006/09/27/where_have_all_the_good_girls_gone

Perhaps she's in a bad place right now or confused.Pray for her. Beware Malkin's articles;they drip with a sarcasm and bitterness that is spiritually unhealthy.

I'm shocked - but not. I pray that she is restored to sanity through repentance for her blasphemies.

May God have mercy on us all for tolerating the corruption of the young!

I thought at first that this was about an Anti-Catholic Church in North Carolina!

This is sad, she should know better.

Lord have mercy on her, may she be converted.

What a shame.

Could it be that she has sold her soul for the almighty dollar-- or pound-- as the case may be?!? Although I am sure she was wealthy enough to begin with, it is amazing how demonically spiraling the greed for more wealth can become...and then it is never enough. Offers of the big bucks then become ever more enticing.

Perhaps we should focus our rightous indignation on those who create and promote such trash in the first place!

I am remembering the story of the "lost" or "prodigal" son and how the Father never gave up and waited faithfully for the son to come home.

May this prodigal daughter return to the love of the Father who with Divine Love and Mercy waits patiently with open arms. Sometimes it takes hitting rock bottom as the prodigal son did...

I agree, Alice, it's about money and what sells. Sadly, this anti-God, anti-Church, anti-Christian...approach from some entertainers is popular and sells. frown

In Christ,

Porter
