Papal assailant calls on Vatican to reveal all parts of Fatima secret [catholicnews.com]

Quote
ROME (CNS) -- The man who shot Pope John Paul II in 1981, jailed Turkish terrorist Mehmet Ali Agca, has called on the Vatican to reveal what he claims are undisclosed elements of the secret of Fatima.

...Agca interrupted proceedings repeatedly with unintelligible ramblings about Fatima and at one point proclaimed himself to be Jesus Christ.

He called on the Vatican to "reveal to the world the name of the man considered by the Vatican as the 'final Antichrist,' so that humanity can repent and prepare in a better way for the end of the world."
This is just too weird. Any thoughts?

Dear Ray,

This is very wierd, and it seems that the man is under some kind of demonic influence.

Very strange indeed...

Could it be possible that the guilt and all the sayings that the secret referred to Mehmet Ali Agca's attempt to murder the Holy Father have made this man completely insane?

Any thoughts?

God Bless

But we all know his name is 666, and it's in the bar code. It's true you know. wink
We shouldn't laugh though, we seem to be closer to it. Didn't someone today mention that all babies born in the world should be registered? frown

Now I think it's Zawahiri, after all he's the one that wears a blue turban. Isn't that what the anti-christ is supposed to be wearing? confused

It depends upon which book that 'unlocks' Revelation - you read. Find a wide assortment next to the Atlantis - Found! section of the book store.

In a merchant environment - there is a 'Christ' for every one to buy into. Browse Waldens and select what kind of Jesus to believe in. This week there is a special on the Jesus who wants us all to be wealthy. No... wait... I think he just signed to do TV commercials for ecologically friendly cars. The popularity of the Davinci Code has his publicist doing overtime. His last public appearance was quite some time ago.

(tongue firmly in cheek)

Speaking of such things - I remember the last Catholic cult to fall bust on 'end times' was the Marian Movement of Priests. It gained quite a large following of priests - and culminatined with predicting (by mmessages from 'Mary') the end of the world a few years back. Needless to say - the world is still here - and the Marian Movement of Priests... is gone.
