Very nice

Yuhannon,
Very nice and inviting. As it turns out, I notice that there is a new church recently consecrated in Houston. I am in that area and will try to attend Divine Liturgy there so I can greet some fellow Eastern Catholics and learn more about other Eastern Traditions. Thanks for posting this.

Shlamalokh Yuhannon!

Thanks for posting that site. I'd like to know, I had always thought that the Maronite liturgy and vestments were very similar to the Syriac Jacobite, but in the pictures it seems that there's a very important influence from Vatican II Western Catholicism (vestments, architecture of churches). Is this happening in Lebanon too or only in the USA?

In Mexico City there's a Maronite parish. I saw part of the video of the ordaination of priests of their Eparchy here (and one of them a married priest if i'm not mistaken) and all looked very Eastern without Latinization.

Great site!

It was great to see the Maronite Lectionary posted. That's a great resource. I was wondering where I can find the text of the Liturgy that is used in the Maronite Church? Is it the same as from this other site?:

Thanks!
