Brethren in Risen Christ,

If you know and want, advise me. I develop a small business and need a car, second hand.

I thought of a VW Passat Variant, will go to Germany to buy at second hand.

Now, what do I need to know about this kind of transaction? I thought that a VW Passat Variant would be just fine for moving and carrying merchandises. VW Bora Variant? Other kind of Variant car? Ideas?

What do you think? How to buy a car at second hand?

I want to go in the next 3 weeks.

To me Kingdom is my true home, but I want to be a good tool here and help. And this car is important.

Thank you smile

In Risen Christ <><

Depending on the mileage of the car you might want to take the car to an independant shop to have a compression check of the cyclindars and for a general inspection. Some shops charge as little as $50.00 to look over a car.

Spend $50.00 and have some one look over the car for you. It will be the best $50.00 you spent. If the car doesn't check out don't be afraid to say no and look elsewhere.

Marian,

I would also say don't be afraid to tell the salesman that you want to go home and think about it. Don't let him pressure you into buying. Don't be afraid to haggle with him either.

May St. Elias protect you in your quest for a good car!

I'd also check with people who are local to you as the experiences in Romania and Germany are bound to be different than in the US.

I am sorry I didn't see you were in Romania. I have no idea how much a shop would charge in Romania. confused

I don't know if y'all use salt or just sand on the highways for the ice and snow. If salt, check the body of the car for rust.
